Update: Giveaway has ended!
We are three months into 2019. Are those new year resolutions going strong or are they long forgotten? If you didn’t keep up with your resolutions, don’t worry because spring has sprung upon us and the flowers will be blooming shortly. It’s just about that time to put your winter coat away and start that spring cleaning, if you haven’t already. Use this new season to ask yourself, “What have I done for my mind and body? My self-care? Have I kept a motivated, positive mindset in this first part of the year?” After all, a healthy lifestyle is not just eating healthy and working out, it’s also about having a healthy mindset. Sometimes we tend to forget that.
With many things occurring in my life in the past year, I am one to have personal mantras because I strive to keep a healthy mindset. I think of a mantra as my own personal statement, that can and has also changed during different times of my life. I believe that reading or saying these words can affect me and my perception in a positive way. Read more about what a mantra is and how to use it here.
“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.”
I’ve always loved the saying and it’s stuck with me even more so today. I currently chose this mantra because it connects to my heart and soul. I love it as a daily reminder. After dealing with so much loss last year, I need to remind myself to seek serenity, courage, and wisdom when dealing with things. For example, accepting that I could not change the fact that my brother had cancer, but find the courage to be positive and keep his memory alive. It really has helped me reduce my stress and create inner clarity.
These bracelets are the perfect gift for someone, too. I bought one for my mom. My mom once lived in Hawai’i and OHANA means family in the native language. I wanted to give her a small token to always remind her I am here for her. I want her to look at it and remember that family will always be in both of our hearts. Family is forever, always, no matter what, and we are a circle of strength, love, and support.
MantraBand has a variety of bands that are great! They have countless mantras for strength, love, happiness, peace, or whatever journey you are in.
According to the MantraBand website, they are “simple, elegant bracelets with a touch of delicate polish and an uplifting message; promoting a lifestyle of optimism, positivity, mindfulness” and I couldn’t agree more!
In my opinion, this jewelry brand is so good for the soul which is why I have partnered with MantraBand to gift one lucky person a $50 MantraBand gift card! You can get your own MantraBand bracelet that has specific meaning just for you.
